 | Connection has been down since 2:40 am Friday over here as well. The main problem is that the family relies on internet streaming for pretty much all entertainment. A day without TV and everyone is ready to look for a new ISP. |

 | Down here too, but only after doing a 'maintenance' reboot on my router/cable modem...oh well. Now chilling at the local pub having a cold one while things work out on their own. For the rest of the people experiencing outtages: cue Peter Gabriel's "Don't Give Up"  |

Unplugged it for a few minutes. I also posted in the Direct forum and the Tek agent had me connect the modem directly to my computer (bypassing the router) in order to help troubleshoot. Not sure if that part made a difference, though... |

Sadly I dont believe there is any magic. Let your router sit there and retry dhcp requests continuously as almost all routers will until it gets an address. Once it happens don't do anything to jeopardize your connection.
I did not have to reboot my cable modem in order to get back online. |

I managed to get an IP on a laptop after running "ipconfig /renew" quite a few times. When I did, I cloned my MAC address to the router and swapped the cable over, got the same IP Back up and running for now.
And in my mind, having the WIND stick, even at $5/day, gives me some sort of fallback when there's outages. In most cases things are fixed in a few days, so it doesn't quite warrant keeping a separate ISP active all year. |

K4P is back up again!
Try powering down both your modem and your router. Power up the modem 1st, give it two minutes to boot and get an IP address. Then power up the router. Good luck! |

Going on 5 days without internet here at L4E. Has anyone in the same area that was experiencing problems managed to get theirs solved?
This is the longest internet outage I've experienced in over a decade. With no ETA for a fix...absurd |

Any updated ETA on this, or is it still mid next week? Rogers can have my service installed by Tuesday morning so I am considering jumping ship. The situation here is worse than the third world.
Whatever the issue is, you'd think they'd just send someone out and have it fixed. I don't care who TSI's vendor is; TSI is my vendor and I haven't had service for days now. |

 | In London, Ontario here. Been down for a few days then woke up and decided to try and hook up the modem directly to my laptop (again) and now it works! But when I connect my modem to my router nothing works. Factory reset everything and still nothing. Could this be because of the modem or is my router now faulty? |

Still outage in l3r. I've try calling tech support he won't put a ticket in for me until the modem swap. And they tell me it will be here in 5 days. Talk to cancellation department, highly considering jumping ship and agent said "go ahead. You want me to cancel you right now?" I really question how you guys work in the office. |

Chris, I would try to clone your laptops MAC address onto your router if it supports it. That should get you online with the router |

I'm pretty much in the same boat... All my entertainment relies on the internet which has been down since very late 25th or early 26th.
A little frustrating to say the least but I'm patient, for now. |

No internet as of 5:30am September 30th. I do however have a tech hopefully coming today. |

 | don't hold your breath regarding a quick repair. I've been with out internet for 4 days. The fault lays at Rogers end, they're making teksavvy customers sweat it out in hopes that they'll switch to Rogers. |
