Recently they claimed I had violated the ToS and shut off my service.
At the same time they billed for the next month and charged it to my
credit card on file !
... no service and you have to pay for it ...
And of course they block access to the account management website,
so you can't even remove the credit card/bank info.
Only defense to such a practice, is to use a virtual credit card number (offered
by Citibank), then one can cancel the card number to avoid extra charges. |
