She lives around Holbrook, PA. Come on, Windstream. For a company who is taking hundreds of thousands of dollars and electing to accept millions from the CAF (Connect America Fund), you can surely do better. Latency was recorded via ping to various websites at intervals of 30 and 60 minutes. Data has been being collected about a month and a half ago to the 24th of September, 2013. |

Windstream's plans for 2013 (»seekingalpha.com/article/1202841···anscript) plan on decreasing upgrades to infrastructure of residents like my mother.
The ETA's you have given have lasted for years, and we have lost faith in your ability to actually service the issue at this point.
Upgrade the DSLAM near Bristoria, particularly here (»maps.google.com/maps?q=39.869224···,0,-2.69) and I think we will see the problems alleviate. Or perhaps the Transport Network behind the DSLAM.
Until the problem is fixed, I will keep charting and generating reports. |

had field tech back out today, Told be nothing was wrong and everything looks good. Stated also doesn't know why the modem is rebooting 12+ times a day. In fact no more had she backed out the drive the modem went down and came back up 3 times before it would stay connected. That lasted about an hour and it did it again. I pulled the stats to see what SNR and Attenuation to see what they were. SNR down is 8.4 and up 11.1 while the Attenuation is 61.5 down and 33.7 up. The tech told me to switch as there was nothing she could do to make it like I had before they messed with the line trying to fix noise on the phone lines and to try getting the cable company to run on out to me for internet. |
