 | Greely (Ottawa) down at my place since Thursday AM as well, I was told it was the firmware on my modem and they are sending me a new DOCSIS 3 modem, but I suspect now that im being hit by this RF signal issue as well.

 | My cable internet service in Manotick (South Ottawa) has been out since early Thursday morning. Any idea on when service might be restored (hours or are we looking at days)?

 | I have a DHCP issue since Wed, Sep 25 morning (Pickering area) ! Have a ticket in and have been calling in numerous times for last 2 days. Finally today i am told there is a big outage and it has been escalated. Spent 1 hr on the phone on Wed with a support person at Teksavvy and was finally told it is a Rogers issue. I can understand it is a Rogers issue but at the end of the day I want my connectivity There is no ETA and I am asked to call back and check every time This is frustrating |

 | Hello Sanjay17,
Thank you for your message,
I certainly apologize for the ongoing issues. We do not have an ETA on when the issues will be resolved but we are working hard to have these issues resolved as soon as possible.
We will contact you once a response to your ticket is received. If a technician dispatch is required, we will definitely advise you of the selected dispatch date and time frame.

 | Ive been reading a lot about Teksavvy outages over the last few days since I went down, and can see these outages have become quite common over the last few months, sometimes lasting weeks. I can say for certain if the outage in Ottawa south continues past this weekend a call will be made to Rogers to switch. I rather stay with TSI but at this point I need service, my home phone is down, my home alarm is down, I cant work from home, everything....some people run their lives on having their internet working, and TSI shouldnt be surprised with people jumping ship when outages last this long. |

Thanks Shawn ! My job has me working from home a lot which I am not able to do now and there is a loss in productivity. Your management has to come down hard on Rogers. I have been a customer of Teksavvy for over 8 yrs now (was Ontario DSL back in the days). My primary reason to be with Teksavvy all these years is not for the rates but your better service in comparison to Rogers and Bell ! |
