Any NETGEAR 341U Users Here? What Are Your Experiences?

Subject says it all. Basically looking at options to goto a Sprint plan with Millenicom without breaking the bank. Thanks for any insight.

Nice device, covers all the LTE bands. A great choice for Millenicom to offer on their unlimited plan. $100 is fair enough to ask for a no contract plan. so for $244.97 you get the modem (which you own), shipped, activated, current month pro-rated, and no contract.

Max Signal.... why do you think it is taking so long to upgrade the firmware for the 341U?
Cradlepoint has upgraded the firmware for the AT&T Net Gear 340U modem.
I have a 341U modem and have not been able to pair it w/ the MBR95 or my router that we use w/ our Exede service, an ASUS RT-N56U.

called Cradle Point, and their attitude is they upgrade the firmware if they can but it does not look like it a priority to get Sprint customers the ability to use the 341u on their routers. They should have been working w/ NetGear to have a program available when Sprint starting selling the 341U on August 15th time period, which was the last upgrade from Cradlepoint for it's routers.
I also had online chat w/ cradlepoint rep, it was like I was chatting with a ALF..
she had no clue on any time line for a router update. not a priority..

I work at a GM dealership, and we are getting program updates everyday on the 14
Silverado,...and GM will Stop delivery on a vehicle if the vehicles are not upgraded by dealerships on delivery.

I hope CradlePoint would update the firmware soon... had the modem a month and been only able use it on individual pc's.

outthere

@spcsdns.net

I'm using my laptop with Connectify Hotspot Pro as a router while I wait for Cradlepoint to get their act together. Works with my Ethernet wired.

Can't wait for 800MHz LTE to show up at my location!!

From them taking so long to update the firmware for Sprint devices , I can only guess there is not a good working relationship between Cradlepoint and Sprint .

I'm sure if cradlepoint sold routers at a 600% mark-up they could respond faster

They will eventually get a hold of one of the devices and add it into a firmware... contact them if you would like to donate one for the cause!

outthere, we tried connectify on a laptop and were able to wifi, but it was keeping the laptop powered up all the time, our house uses the internet almost 24 hrs a day.
Us two during the weekend and in the evenings after work... then my son is using LNFZ on Exede in the morn from midnite till 5Am. Since the 16th of Sept we have already used 35.5GB of a 60GB plan... Late Nite Free Zone is not counted in that usage.

Developing an enterprise devise together , but not pushing through a simple firmware to make a modem compatible with one of their big selling routers . Does not look like a lot of cooperation to me. How long has Sprint had the 341u on the market ? Somebody in this relationship is not playing nice.

Yeah that can be the only reason. i cant imagine this being an oversight. Someone is costing them a lot of money by being a douche.
