Need to convert and combine TS files

Not sure how to do this. I have some old videos that I transferred from VHS to DVD. They are now in TS files. I need to combine them into one file that is youtube friendly. I don't need anything fancy. No real need to edit them. Must be FREE.

Please move to correct forum if needed.

Thanks

Here ya go..

click on projects, then avi.NET

proggy is free, I tested it with a 4sec .ts sample, worked good.. donate a coupla bux if it does what you need. Make sure to install the XVID codec inside the zip file, unless you already have one installed.

edit-- saw you need to stitch them together. duno if this prog does that. you may need to convert to avi first, then get another prog to stitch them.. use www.videohelp.com for that.

good luck

Avidemux is probably the simplest approach around. It supports TS files and it can take multiple videos and stitch them together using the "append" function under File menu. It will require re-encoding, but you should have a single long video as a result.
