[Phone] Massive shaw phone outage?

I've had a (cellphone) call from 2 friends (Calgary) and one client (in Edmonton, on a T1 FFS) in the last hour. What the heck is going on? All the numbers on the T1 are getting a disconnected message instead of forwarding to the backup POTS line.

Shaw phones in primarily the Calgary and Hamilton area are having issues right now. Typically you'll get a message saying "This number is not available or not in service" or something similar. They've got an alert in the support area on their website.

Just tried calling out, no dial tone on Home Phone. Checked the modem and link light is not lit. Rebooted it anyways, nothing.

Shaw had a massive phone outage today, I didn't know it extended to their T1 lines too though

Yes, I am not employed and looking for IT work. Have passport, will travel.

There was a phone issue that affected mostly Alberta and Hamilton customers on Saturday. It was resolved around 6pm PST, and if anyone continues to experience issues please contact our customer support as soon as possible.
