I can't find this info anywhere on their site in any language.
Their current terms of service make no mention of this.

I've picked on Cogeco long enough. Who's next? Any volunteers?

You can't enforce a rule without telling people what the rule is. I believe the CRTC even states that it has to be well-defined and clear.

The famous undefined Rogers "soft cap"

Teksavvy defines their unlimited as well, by being unlimited. The reason people go with unlimited (and pay quite a bit extra for it, in some cases) is so they don't have to worry about the BS of watching a cap. If you are going to have unlimited but then say you can't go over XXX amount of usage in a month, it's not really unlimited then is it?

That's always been my argument, I have enough things to do in life then watch if that email or watching a particular youtube video will put me over some arbitrary limit.

Same with mobile, while 6gb (in my experience) is huge, but they seem to be focused on being as stingy as possible (200mb on Fido, really?) while charging the maximum possible.

If you tell me that it;s unlimited but reserve the right to throttle me at 5gb, then I'm good, I know it's a 5gb plan.

I go way beyond the average usage described here, and I'm not even trying. With my 45/4 service, I could almost exceed those above limits in a 24hr period, going at full tilt.

And the individual never becomes a financial liability, while I might go crazy and use a few TB a month, somebody else might only use a few hundred so it all balances out.

No, I didn't. Honest... I ran out of gas. I... I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake.......

See: »www.bravotelecom.com/fr-CA/modal···ales.php

They modified this document this week to add a 75GB/7 days "soft limit".

75GB in 7 days?

Jesus, I can blow through that in 2-3 hours.

That was in relation to my home connection, in the DC, I can kill that in around a minute.

ROFL this is funny they totally explained it and did so 100% incorrectly
75% of the maximum speed of the package is supposed to be the throttle, but in fact they are throttling you to 25% of what your paying for. Thats Sadistic.. glad they came clean But wow.. Thats wrong.
