[DSL] Anyone else in Ohio having problems?

Lately for at LEAST the last 3 months are internet service has gone down the toilet. Every time a call Frontier all they say is that they are upgrading their systems, and that its going to be a while before they are done, and no released date when they will be finished. I have multiple friends around the Jackson area all with Frontier dsl having the same problem. For a long time the problem was just slow speeds and bad ping, but now things have gotten worse. The ping and speed actually got pretty good, but the packet loss is very bad. When I did a pathping it showed around 45% packet loss. So half the time web pages never lowed due to de-syncing, and you can forget about downloading anything or watching a video. Does anyone have a clue how much longer this ''upgrade'' is going to take?

It's the same old story; unlike Verizon (who they bought the lines from) they keep taking on new customers when they don't have the infrastructure to support them and don't bother to upgrade until it gets really bad. They're a really terrible company who doesn't give a rat's ass about their customers and will do whatever they can to squeeze every dime from overloading their infrastructure to adding erroneous fees to bills.
