Slow upload speeds

just got a new Actiontek PK5001a modem. Did a CenturyLink speedtest (one of many). My download speeds are great (7.94 Mbps) my ping was 80 ms, my upload speeds are always terrible (.67 Mbps). I intended using this for viewing surveillance cameras of a relatives house from a remote location. Any thoughts? Century Link folk?

Your upload speed on anything below 20Mbps is generally 896k, so .67 is about right.

To be honest though, looking at surveillance cameras should not require anymore than 500k, so you should be fine.

Thanks for responding. I was wondering what I needed for surveillance cameras.
