Verizon site glitch: upgrade & keep unlimited

Verizon's website is currently allowing customers to select their unlimited plan when going through a device upgrade. I myself have taken it all the way to the checkout area where you enter your credit card details and submit the order, and have a friend who has completely gone through with an order.

This glitch? is still live, so get in on it while you can. I'm not sure if Verizon will honor the orders once they catch wind of this (if it isn't deliberate), so do it at your own risk.

Verizon site glitch: upgrade & keep unlimited ...

Actually, I did it in a VZ owned store recently. It was explained to me that the imposed upgrade policy had a bad effect on orders, so they dropped the requirement, just don't "advertise" it.

I have tried several times in store and online and neither would let me keep my unlimited. Where are yall seeing the option to keep it? All they show me are the new share everything plans .

The reps in the stores will make up anything if it sounds good at the time....

It looks like Verizon will honor the contracts for those who upgraded and kept the unlimited data.

HOWEVER the wording is that they "will keep the unlimited for the duration of their contracts". Does this imply that those customers will be forced off the unlimited once their 24 months is up?

My take on that is as long as they pay full price for any phone to keep unlimited...as is the case now...they'll keep it in the future.
