 | [TV] Sat Night Live season premiere Awful!!!
Awful!!!
I love Tina Fey but as the host she was disappointing tonight.
This is the best they could do after a WHOLE SUMMER of things to make jokes about? |

For a few years I wondered if I was just to blasted old and out of touch with what was funny and unable to relate. It's had a good long run but they need have some compassion and pull the plug. |

IMO, SNL was always spotty. |

I watched the beginning sketch and thought it was pretty funny. I laughed out loud several times. -- Humanity - The greatest natural disaster of all time. |

The last time I saw a funny episode of SNL, Melissa McCarthy was hosting. I think it was last season. Before that, it was an old Christopher Walken hosted show. That was years ago. -- "Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats." - H. L. Mencken

| They need to get rid of Lorne Michaels.
He's too burned out and set in his ways now.
When folks like Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart do wickedly funny political humor every night....
When American TV in 40 years has evolved from "All in the Family" to "Modern Family"....
They just CAN'T keep doing the same old shtick !!!! |
