Re: Teksavvy of yesteryear (rant) I don't know quite where this 100% subsidized the building of the infrastructure thing came from because from what I understand, it's far from the truth. |

| Well, Bell has put a LOT of money back into the network architecture over the years than it ever cost them in the early years. And consider the alternative, if the governments had NOT invested by helping with infrastructure, we wouldn't have had telephone ... because like today, nobody could afford to build out the infrastructure required by themselves.! |

said by tekSavvyUser :One more thing: TS is providing WIND solution for such outage, that is good step, it shows they do care! +1 for this, I have a Wind stick/Router from Teksavvy on it's way to provide coverage for my outage due to a cable cut.
A+ effort for Teksavvy! They've also done a good job at keeping me updated on my ticket.

Playing devil's advocate here, and I do mean that literally... if Rogers is offering a no-contract TSI price-matched deal, for those that are very desperate and cannot wait, it does kind of make sense to switch temporarily and switch back whenever TPIA's are sorted. Of course, Rogers is notorious at bumping prices and out-clauses. I think many will be in the same boat if these problems persist beyond a few days... for TSI, I hope they do not. |

I was thinking how this forum looks like the Telus and Shaw forums used to look 10 years ago. Today, those forums get one or two posts a day. In the Telus and Shaw forums of yesteryear, people had lots to complain about. Now not so much.
Look like Teksavvy is going through the same kind of growing pains. |
