 | Can the actiontec C1000a be used with other ISP's? Does this modem only work with CL or can it work with other ISP's?
Can you change the VPI and VCI numbers? |

Ok thanks, I ended up buying it and it works fine with my ISP.
It even shows slightly higher sync speeds than my old gt701d.
One thing I'm not sure about is when I carefully move it back and forth, it sort of makes a sound like a broken light bulb.
Do you happen to know what part would cause this? |

I don't know what would be making the sound. It could be a loose antenna. Does it only make the sound when powered on? |

The rattle is present when the unit is unplugged. |

Well I'm off to swap it out with another new one just to be safe. But before I did I thought it would good time to post pictures of the inside since there aren't any pics on the web. |
