Zemena was bought out be Web Root, and I had already purchased Zemena, so when it let me know that it was bought pout, it also downloaded, and in my case, in that I was already running an Antivirus, the download corrupted many many files on my computer. This resulted in a reformat from which I am still recovering. |

I have been using Zemana for several years now,and have never experienced any problems with it...It is designed to work with an existing AV,without any hiccups..
I would suspect that the DL you got was not a genuine copy of Zemana...(ala malware/virus) |

1 edit | My bad. It wasn't Zemena that I meant. I use it too. It was Prevx that was bought out and caused the problem.
In fact, not only have I run it for years, when I tried to reload it on my reformatted computer, Zemena would not take my old key. I deleted it and filled out the form that was asked for as to the reason on the Zemena site. The company was gracious enough to send me a new key that would work! It's a great program along with being an upstanding company. |
