All in one computer and HD box

Hi all,

Hopefully you can help me. I currently have a Haupagge tuner in a computer and can set and record based on schedule. I have not hooked up my HD box from Shaw.

I am probably going to get an All in 1 computer (Sony Vaio probably) which I believe has a tv tuner. Is there a way for the computer to change the channel on the Shaw HD box?

Any help greatly appreciated.

IR Blaster if your Haupagge card has one.

Otherwise, have to use 1394, if your HD box has that port.
