| **Red Cable** DHCP Issues Scarborough After transferring from ***savvy first month of service was solid, DHCP issue since this morning called in and opened a ticket. Hop onto my neighbors wifi (with his permission of course) he has rogers and is still chugging along with no problems.
Hopefully this gets resolved quickly, man i cant wait till i can get 50/10 vdsl in my neighborhood im sick and tired of rogers shenanigans with IISP's. |

Your not the only one. At this rate with Bell Fibe's deployment perhaps by 2030 VDSL2+ will be more widespread and only a few decades behind of Europes deployment of FTTN and even FTTH. |

We're on it - looks like it's impacting about 5 customers, unfortunately you're one of them. Sorry about that. We haven't had a lot of DHCP issues, but for the ones we've had it's been resolved in about a day. (other than the downtown Toronto fiasco for a couple dozen customers)
We submitted an Omnibus file to the Commission late last week to address these types of disparity and level the playing field when it comes to support and install issues. It's all common-sense stuff and we hope it will really help the TPIA platform mature. |

I've been down since this morning as well... also in Scarborough on Comstock POI. Hoping this gets resolved soon  |

Looks like most of the these issues are always on the Comstock POI, im 100% fine on the McNicoll POI. |

i swear hi volt lives like 2 blocks to my east and has had vdsl for like 2 years now.... and my old house couple blocks to the west has vdsl.....soooo im just stuck here in the middle with jack squat

Re: **Red Cable** DHCP Issues Scarborough My internet also went down on Sept29/30 morning and it is still not up. I've contacted Start and they said Rogers technician is coming later this week. Start Internet service has been very stable until recently. From August I'm starting to have 1outage per every month... they come back within same day but this one is week long without internet very inconvenient.
weird thing about it is whenever I have outage, it is same time as ***savvy's outage. (looking at their dsl forum) strangely most Start internet user seems unaffected by it except me and very few individual. |
