Don't panic, the only people who would have access to the SSID/Password are people who are in your home already(Who would probably know the SSID/password already) or hackers who already hacked into it and would already know the SSID/password.

I can't fault AT&T for doing this.
If you don't like it disable the WiFi on the RG and roll your own access point.
