Okay, so WTF is going on with this? I log in to the IP address and what on the front page is not only my SSID but the encryption key I created for my wifi. What the frack are these people thinking?

It's the same way on the NVG-589. I assume it's because they want you to be able to get to it easily in order to connect a WiFi device.

Don't panic, the only people who would have access to the SSID/Password are people who are in your home already(Who would probably know the SSID/password already) or hackers who already hacked into it and would already know the SSID/password.

See old thread on this: »Wireless Network Key in Plain Text?

Still hides the wifi password on the page to change it, lol.

It's called "many people calling support because they couldn't find the password to their WiFi or what they changed to from the default one printed on the label"

I can't fault AT&T for doing this.

If you don't like it disable the WiFi on the RG and roll your own access point.
