Getting 1.5Mbs download on speakeasy and 0.25Mbs upload.

Update: Now getting 2.4 down and 2.5 Up ??? strange

I do see a bit of upstream signal issues, but that probably would not cause the loss in speeds you're seeing here. Would it be possible to connect the PC directly to the modem and run some more tests?

11-16Mbs Down 2.5-2.75 Up today (during 6PM peak) with no changes on my end (still through router).

My router is pretty high end (FortiNet FWF-60B) and has great throughput. No difference yesterday or today bypassing router.

No packet loss today either from what I can tell.

Intermittent = maddening

While looking at your modem, I see a pretty bad Upstream TX issue that needs to be addressed. This can be caused by a faulty splitter. As for the speeds, you are provisioned for an old plan in which has download speeds of up to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 1 Mbps. There is no contract on this plan, so if you would like to have someone contact you to possibly upgrade your speeds, I will be more than happy to have someone reach out to you. If that will not work for you, you can call in at your earliest convenience. Which would be best for you?

Can splitters inside the house do this? I have a 3-way splitter going to my HTPC, HDHomerun, and TV.

The splitter outside is some $300 fancy one (the tech that put it in said), and is about a year old.

The splitter definitely could be causing it. If you bypass it, I can check real time signal levels and see if that improves immediately.

Just took out in house 3-way (which was in a separate room from my modem). Any difference on your end?

They look a little bit better on this end currently. However, the issue seems to be intermittent so I'd want to monitor it without the splitter for at least a few hours to determine if that was causing any signal issues.

They blamed a splitter on my more recent issues. Replaced it with one they said had better tolerances with both too low or too high signals iirc?

You need a tech out.

At this point it would be best to setup an appointment for a tech to investigate. I'll send you a message with the details.
