1 edit | Anyway to take an echo out off a 5 min clip? A co-worker took a video and was talking in a church, he needs it on a dvd however there is a lot of echoing.
It was recording with an iPad, it is a .mov ext

They would say the person making the recording needed to foresee this and control the recording environment; in a church, that would mean closely mic'ing participants, not attempting to record sound 25 feet away.
Others say it may be possible to at least reduce it. Those that attempt it use expensive audio processing software with a learning curve such as Adobe Audition (and in this case might need Premiere too since it's a video file). There may be less expensive ways to attempt this, following suggestions below.
Can he re-record the audio, since he's the one speaking? If at all possible, that would be the way I would go.
