| Yes, indeed. I spent many a late night, racing to get to the end of several of his novels. -- ♬ Dragon of good fortune struggles with the trickster Fox ♬ |

I'd love to see Red Storm Rising on the big screen. It was an awesome read.
Another one that should be made is Without Remorse. Also a damn good read. -- An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last. - Sir Winston Churchill |

Damn. I was browsing a few of his titles the other day at the store. i thought they looked pretty sparse. Meaning the majority where "Tom Clancy Op force" in such and such mission. Meaning the book was based on something Tom Clancy created, but he [Tom Clancy] had contributed nothing to what was in the book.

Definately enjoyed the first couple of novels he put out... after that, they were still entertaining, but didn't seem as captivating as his earlier works. Definately enjoyed his nonfiction "Guided Tour..." series. Wish more were put out as it really gave you a sense of "how your military works" that no one's been able to match.
The world has definately lost a great first...

RIP Mr. Clancy
You will be missed.
All of his novels were enjoyed by myself and the other members of my unit while I was in the Corp. He always managed to provide an air of accuracy and credibility to the details that even those in our S2 shop (Intel) found amazing. |

I loved all that I read in the Jack Ryan universe, right on through Debt of Honor (about seven novels). -- ♬ Dragon of good fortune struggles with the trickster Fox ♬ |
