 milnoc join:2001-03-05 H3B kudos:2 | Wouldn't surprise me if the fake signs were mounted in such a way that the original signs were never damaged. Anyone paying that much attention to detail is not very likely to get sloppy during the installation.

That's too funny. When I was living in edmonton the usual slogan "City of Champions" kept getting stolen.... I guess with the Eskimos and Oilers droughts people took offense to them. The city would put it back up and some would take it back down. Now someone's replaced them all together  |

Hilarious prank ... but ... Its pretty elaborate, Budd said. The replacement signs were attached first with construction adhesive, then screwed in for double measure. There will likely be damage.
We used to some serious pranks on campus signs during Engineering Week at the U of A. But using static-cling Vinyl or just double sided tape. |
