| I had to phone in to get one - don't know if that has changed. I didn't actually "want" one, but my web host requires an ISP e-mail (i.e. no free e-mail) as the main contact. :| |

I believe if you use the SMTP from your Start connection, it doesn't require you to login.
If you're remote, I believe it verifies through IMAP first. I may be mistaken though. |
