[Homephone] Installed FTTH, lost Ident-a-call?!

I got FTTH about a month ago. Until couple days ago when someone trying to fax us and we never got the fax, then we find out the ident-a-call number no longer worked!! It just say the ident-a-call phone number is not in service. FTTH Internet and regular phone line work fine. We have this ident-a-call line for more than 20 years and I distinctively remember the Fiber technician mention this line is on his work order as well. Called the regular 611 line and get transferred over to the Fibre support line of 1-866-696-0663. After a long call with a very nice lady, she finally admit that ident-a-call number is out of service.

She told me she is writing up a work order to be passed on to the "prime", some special technical person or something like that. Because I am on FTTH, they have to create/configure my ident-a-call number back. I have arranged with her to have that tech department call me back tomorrow after 6pm so I will be at home for whatever test necessary.

For those who don't know what Ident-A-call is: »www.bell.ca/Home_phone/Products/Ident_A_Call

What the hell man? Am I getting my legs pulled here? Bell know I have 2 number on my line. How can they forget to program the ident-a-call number back to my fibre line? For sure I am going to ask for a credit for that month of no service. They better get it setup properly or I am going to the direct forum next for both the fix and the credit.

A non

@videotron.ca

what you should have done is call the billing office and ask if ident-a-call feature is on your account

if yes and it's not working they would transfer you to FTTH tech support to troubleshoot
if not you get them to add it

611 don't deal with FTTH customers
