Does this look like Signal (RF) issues? I also have a lot of other errors.
Not sure what to make of this. Is this an RF or DHCP issue?

I just woke up and I'm down in the Springbank and Wonderland area. Power cycled equipment to no avail.
All lights on the modem are normal but I cannot get an IP.
It was working for me when I went to bed last night. |

If it helps Teksavvy at all, my Rogers connection in NE London (Highbury/Sunningdale) was fine all night, didn't get a chance to check this morning. My parents however in NW London (Wonderland/Sunningdale) was running near dial-up speeds all night and no amount of troubleshooting locally fixed it, so looks to be network related.
Rogers must be rolling upgrades again (think they have been since back to school, connection reliability has been sketch), but I can't determine what changes they may be making since I notice no obvious changes when logging into the modem. |

Im in london, specifically White Oaks. This is getting rediculous. Not only has it been spotty multiple times this month, yesterday morning I had to run to a McDonald's in order to send in an important application, due to the fact I had no Internet whatsoever.
All iv had since yesterday morning is the first three lights blinking. Iv tried the power cycling, but nothing seems to help. Iv been on hold with customer service for a combined hour and 20 minutes, and I STILL havnt been able to actually talk to any customer service.
What's ironic is that being able to check my email on my phone, they recently send me the bill...as if I'm going to pay anything at this point. I'm sick and tierd of hearing the excuses to pass off the blame, that it's all Rogers blah blah..how about the company grows a spine, and begins to actually act like they care about your business.
Either way I'm looking up new providers ATM, betting I can get another provider before I can even get tek savvy to pick up the phone. |

It's all the 800 York POI that is down. |
|
yabos join:2003-02-16 London, ON | It's not the whole POI. I have colleagues at work who are on Teksavvy in London and they're still up. There doesn't seem to be any pattern that I can see from the different areas that are affected here. It seems to be that there're people down in all areas of the city. |

Went home at lunch. Whatever RF issue they had seems to be fixed for me at least but still having a DHCP issue. US still flashing and it lost 1/3 US channels for a few mins and then it came back but was still flashing. |

Anyone want to speculate whether these are node splits they're doing? RF issues, so they're probably reassigning frequencies and then DHCP issues afterwards while they do all their manual routing changes. Still BS that they can do this for their customers within a few hours but for TPIA it takes days or weeks. |

try a power cycle.
Power off your modem (unplug from wall). Unscrew the coax cable. Power off your router (if connected). If not, power off your PC.
Wait 15 minutes or so Turn on your router or PC.
Screw back the coax. Power on modem.
See if that fixes the issue. |
