 ablatt join:2001-08-03 Toronto, ON 1 edit | Just got changed to 5 downstream, 3 upstream I have Rogers Business Internet Pro (up to 60/10) at the office. Maintenance performed some upgrades yesterday, including removing extraneous splitters outside the building.
They also changed up something else, as now my Cisco Modem is reporting 5 downstream and 3 upstream channels in use, wherease previously it was 8 and 3.
Are they changing up the signaling in preparation for future speed increases?
** Update ** Just rebooted the modem and all 8 downstream channels are operational. Weird. |
