| [X1] Need X-1 advise Hi X-1 users....I am considering upgrading to the X-1 platform. I currently have the tri-pak service that includes HD and Blast. It looks really cool to use but I have heard that the software is plagued with bugs. However seeing that new sw has been released it's making it very enticing to switch over. What has been your experiences thus far with X-1. Thanks for any info you can share.
**** MOD...feel free to move this post to appropriate forum... Thanks |

 | Are you talking about the triple play when You talk about the tripack because you only mentioned that you had cable and internet which means you have double play. Triple play means that you have cable, internet, and phone or xfinity home.
If you have triple play every single package except for the economy triple play has x1. If you have double play you would need to have an xf double play to get x1.
By the way your in the right forums |

 | Hi Joe....Yes..you're correct. I have Triple play. My STB is an old Motorola. I also have an old CRT 27" TV. But by Christmas the wife and I are getting a 46" HDTV. We can't stand the tube TV we have now. |

1. Like that there is more storage.
2. More tuners, have actually recorded 3 at a time and watch live TV at the same time.
3. 2x a program did not get recorded.
My Universal Remote does not work perfectly yet, but the Comcast one now supports both IR and RF, so the box can be behind a door. -- - Bill |
