Re: Problem port forwarding on UDP 20595 The problem is likely the modem. I was unable to get an at&t microcell to work with the router in the pk5001z modem. Usually, all you have to do is plug it in and boot it up and make sure UP&P is enabled. With some routers, you have to put the microcell in the DMZ. I tried everything I could think of, worked with at&t support, and with CL support. We were not able to get it working with that modem.
My only suggestion is to use a different modem. You can try a firmware update, but I don't think it will help any. |
 | Hello all, I have been trying to forward UDP 20595 on my CenturyLink PK5001z modem/router, however with the forwarding correctly set up, yougetsignal.com is indicating that the port is still closed even though I have an application up to provide a destination for incoming signals. I also attempted to open this port with the modem in transparent bridge mode with an Airport Extreme acting as router, also correctly setup, as my other ports indicate as being open. I contacted CenturyLink about the issue, and was transferred to Tier 2 support immediately, however Tier 2 support was unable to solve the issue, or tell me if port 20595 has been blocked ISP wide. |
