Need rims

2001 Ford Ranger XLT RWD 2.5L engine. I've been thinking for a year or two to get a set of rims for the warmer weather all season tires and keep the stock ones for the snow tires. Anybody ever buy off of ebay? Is this a good deal:

Where else should I look? I don't want baller/flashy, I just need them to fit the purpose of all seasons and winter tires.

Local junkyard. Keep your good rims for summer tire use. Use the rims from the junkie for winter use (let them take the salt and grime abuse in the worst season). Best of all, it's probably the cheapest option as well.

Already looked, they either want $100 a rim for a rusted piece of junk or they don't have them. The rims I have on now are stock steel ones so they'd definitely be a candidate for winter duty.

$100/junkyard rim is HIGHWAY ROBBERY!! I recently bought a set of four pretty nice rims off a junkyard wreck for about $25/rim.

Well, best of luck in your rim search!

2 places with good selections of wheels:

Make sure you get the wheel with a correct backspacing.

What is backspacing?

If you are a Costco member, why not buy some "steelies" there. The brand new black 18" wheels for my Ford Edge were about $45 each.

Will a shop be able to tell that if I give them my tire size and or make/model of vehicle?

No Costco around here... yet. I think it's coming next year or maybe 2015.

That looks like a good website. I'm still looking at $200 for four used ones in questionable condition though. Nothing around me either, so add another $30 to $50 gas money plus travel time.

»www.wegotused.com/wp-content/upl···List.pdf Steel wheels are 6 bucks a piece. Those wheels are going to look like crap on a ranger.
