 | When Teksavvy cable uses cogeco as the last mile.. are there as many problems as with Rogers? Nobody curses cogeco here. |

 | No, not as many problems. Cogeco works great on Teksavvy in my opinion. |

 | reply to Plover YES! I placed an order for tek cable internet in Windsor. Despite placing the order September 8th I have yet to have the service installed. This is despite three different installation dates. They are hopefully (doubtfully) going to come either today or tomorrow to install it. This is despite the fact that, when I log on to my modem, I have full up and down sync.(See picture) Any time I connect my modem I always have full sync. When I try to navigate to any webpage I get a Cogeco splash page.
My circumstances may be unique because I am using a modem that was previously used for cogeco services at the same address. That being said the previous cogeco account holder (my Mother) canceled her services about 2 weeks before I placed my order with Teksavvy. There are no outstanding balances on the previous cogeco account and the modem was not a rental.
I find it unlikely that Cogeco dragging their heels in my case is unique. At the first major delay I was told by Tek that Cogeco cancelled my first installation because it should have been a transfer. I think if you are going to with Teksavvy or any 3rd party, in Windsor at least, you should expect problems. |

I switched from DSL in Milton last April to the 20/2 plan. Except for a few days in August when Cogeco increased their upload speeds to 10 Mbps, it's been rock solid. $39.95 for 20/10, not bad. |
