That's the actual model number/manufacturer code. RNG150N is the class of hardware, made by multiple vendors for Comcast

said by theisonews:and on x1 dvr it says PA px001anc Same as above, the X1 DVR is what Comcast calls an XG1 class hardware. The model number/vendor name is PA PX001ANC part.

said by theisonews:and then on the manage equipment on my comcast account page it has my x1 listed as a cable box and a modem both listing have a differnt mac address. That would make sense, since the X1 DVR has a dedicated cable modem in it used for communicating with Comcast for all the advanced guide functions.

No idea what that is, it's not a model/code I've ever seen before. Seems like it's some internal Comcast system identifier, possibly related to the Arris TMG822G you list below.
said by theisonews:and also Make & Model: AR tm822g That's your cable modem/digital voice adapter. It's an Arris TM822G »www.arrisi.com/products/product.asp?id=80 |

I don't think so, the way to find out is to see what shows up on your actual bill. |
