L4J in Richmond Hill (Thornhill ) is still not working. Both myself and my neighbor are offline since Sept 25th. I have a ticket opened with Teksavvy and a thread in direct forum for which I had no reply since yesterday.

How come Richmond Hill is off the list if it is not resolved yet? Is there anything being done for Richmond Hill currently ?

Scarlett Rd. (M9A) still off. DHCP server issuing /27 IP that cannot reach gateway, or no IP issued.

If Richmond Hill is no longer on the list, does that mean nothing is being done? L4S here, no internet for 7 days.

nope...Scarlett still down for me.
I received an IP earlier today..(135.x.x.x/27) but I was unable to ping the supplied gateway. A /27 is only a 30 address subnet so that does not seem right.

I released, rebooted and renewed, but now back to waiting for an IP.

I've jumped ship... nearing 9th day and can't wait any longer.
I got an email from TSI, which I thought would be a reply to the Wind hotspot request from 5 days ago, but it was my bill with not a dime in compensation for the 8+ days of services not rendered.

Richmond hill still isn't working despite having been "fixed" days ago.
I got the "Teksavvy refugee" plan (30/3mbps, 300GB, $45 w/ modem and no one time fees) w/ Robbers... not bad.

Good luck to those still holding out. Now to try and get a few bucks returned for the downtime...

is that price forever or just 6months ?

Hmm...guess I'm switching back also at that rate. Funny ...as I type this I receive a confirmation email on my Portal request Monday for a speed increase. I have been offline since Monday night. I just cannot wait another day for an IP to free up.

It's "forever" in the sense that they don't state it is only for x months, but since it's Rogers, they will probably increase it by a couple bucks each year.
As usual with the big companies, just threaten to cancel and they'll probably give you some credits to offset any increases.

@bell.ca

Don't buy into it, I called them and there is NO such deal, they want to get you to call them hoping you might sign in. It is fishing time!

I already signed up, as did many others from RFD forums here: »forums.redflagdeals.com/rogers-c···-785331/

I'd rather stick with TSI, but not at the cost of being offline indefinitely whenever something goes wrong with near nonexistent support.

(Speaking of which, still no response in their direct forum)

I've been trying to get a WIND data stick for a couple days now but Teksavvy keeps giving me the run around. Am I going to get the Data stick? Has anyone actually been successful in getting it and how long does it take? 10th day now...

Hi Jon Lai,

I looked into your direct thread and I have your account information. I will ensure to send your information over to the manager that handles the sticks to have one sent out to you asap. I'll update you once I receive an update from that manager.

Cheers,

TSI Keith told me:
"I do indeed see a ticket already opened for you. I've looked into this and unfortunately there is no update from our vendor as of you. We'll be in touch as soon as there is."

Does that mean that they are looking into the issue?

Also - My modem now says I am online - but I do not have any internet - I get a 169.x.x.x IP.

Correct, "as of you" must of been a typo, he probably meant "as of yet". I looked at the ticket that we submitted to our vendor for you and there is no reply to it as of yet. Once we do, we will be in touch with you.

Thank you,

L4C Richmond Hill still down.
Day 9 here.
My initial activation in Aug took 15 days and now this madness.
I have to drive out to McDonalds to pay my credit card bill. Credit card bill containing my monthly internet fee. Let that sink in...
