 | Sagemcom 2864 Sync-no-Surf | Has it been resolved? Just curious if the Sagemcom 2864 Sync-no-Surf has it been resolved or is the community waiting for a further firmware update? |

 | Just use the interleaved profile. It will add 10ms of latency or so. Who cares... that's nothing and you won't notice it. Rock solid connection with that profile, average pings on pingtest of 13-17 ms and ZERO jitter.
Plus, by using vDSL, you can avoid sending money to rogers via Teksavvy. Bell might not be the best, but after the recent DHCP issues, they are arguably less sleazy. vDSL, IMHO is a MUCH BETTER technology, so long as the remote is located relatively near to your home.
Once a good stand-along modem is rolled out that is compatible with Stinger remotes, I think Teksavvy should promote this over cable. Far fewer problems, as telephone lines are generally more robust compared to cable (pretty much deemed essential). |

I do cause that's not the only affect it has.
That said, end of this month, beginning of next month is when the patch is supposed to come out. |

You can ask to be put on an interleaved profile. This will somewhat mask the issue by making the downtime experienced much smaller and (at least in my experience) and its occurrences less frequent. The only real fix is to use a non-Sagemcom modem. Teksavvy has indicated they expect firmware around the end of October that will fix the Sagemcom so that it no longer suffers from this issue but since they are reliant on Bell to provide that firmware I wouldn't assume it will work until it is delivered and tested.
