[Networking] Expanding coax network

Click for full size
Currently The Vz installed 8-way splitter is full. Needing to add atleast 2 more drops to around the house. Wanting to plan and build this with some expantion room. All runs back to a central closet with the ONT. Attached is how I think is best to go with things.

1) Need recommendation for Splitters. I'm thinking about just going with monoprice but Open to other suggestions. if I can get 1 large splitter that works for me too.

2) Current service is the 150/75 with Extreme HD package. Actiontec is Rev I. Am I still bound by the 7 moca device limit? all rooms have an STB and Living Room is the DVR.

Not if all your DVRs/STBs are 7xxx-P2 models.

I think you will see less loss with a 2 way feeding two eight way splitters

Seriously, get a 16-way splitter. And yes, they do make 16-way splitters.

I have one, have used it with Fios, and had ZERO problems with it.

The only caveat, all of your coax lines need to terminate in the same location, the place where the splitter gets mounted.

Just make sure the (Future) ports are properly capped with a 75-ohm terminator.

What splitter do you use?

All cables already terminate in a closet next to the ont.

It's a Toner XGVS-16.
I've been using it for probably 5+ years now, never had a problem with it.

ONT feeds into it on the far Left, Router is connected to the first port, 3 HD-DVR's, 1 Cablecard device, and 3 Digital Adapters round out the other cables attached.

Half the ports are capped with terminators now, but some of those ports were connected to additional STB's and analog TV sets when Fios was still partially analog.

The shiny detached thing on the right is a retired Dish network switch.
