Re: New DPC3825 - can't view DOCSIS log any longer Correct me if I'm wrong but can't you try a 30/30/30 reset (Google it.) to clear all settings and caches and then it would detect a firmware update when you plug it back in. Don't use Rogers so I don't know if that would work. |

The 30-30-30 reset is pointnless. NVRAM can be cleared with a simple checkbox.
To resest the DPC3825, follow these instructions:
RESET: A momentary pressing (1-2 seconds) of this switch reboots the EMTA. Pressing the switch for more than ten seconds first causes a reset-to-factory- default of all settings and then reboots the gateway
CAUTION: The Reset button is for maintenance purposes only. Do not use unless instructed to do so by your cable service provider. Doing so may cause you to lose any cable modem settings you have selected. |
