Questions for Rocca

I am currently a customer with Start and I am on the grandfathered 30/10 - 400 GB package.

Yesterday we officially bought a house and we take possession Nov 29, 2013

My questions are this:

1) Will I be charged an installation fee even though I am already a customer and just simply moving from 1 location to the other

2) Will I be able to keep my grandfathered plan or will I need to be updated to the current 30/10 package with the unlimited 2am to whatever package?

Nov 29 is a Friday, depending on when we take possession, an install date could be setup for that date

I am not rocca, but, these questions are answered many times, already

1) yes *(you have to pay setup fee every time techs are sent out)*
2) yes (account number stays the same, so, they should keep plan for you)

Ya I figured there would be a install fee which is not a big deal, but want to keep my grandfathered plan if I can

Guess I'll wait for official confirmation from rocca to be sure

1) Yes unfortunately.

2) Usually grandfathered is 'in place as is' and in many cases we simply don't have the ability to offer a legacy package at a new location, but if you PM me your account # I'll look at the circumstances to see if there is anything we can do.

Got your PM, ya I see what you're saying about my usage, just my concern is future proofing my connection I guess as it seems like everyone is offering less and less while charging more and more (not you guys, but Bell/Rogers/Cogeco/etc). Getting 400GB is almost impossible nowadays, so I'll decide over the next 2 months what to do

Thanks and we'll have to figure out an install date, but we do take possession on Nov 29, so might want to document that for when I call in or PM you at a later date
