 | [Internet] Running a wired connection hi, i live in the hills and have been connection/service. i have the highest level of wifi from time warner but its so spotty.. i want to run a few hardlines -- one for upstairs and one downstairs so when im doing important stuff im not trying to connect to the spotty wifi.
i was wondering how i go about this.. do i need to have TWC come out to run the cables, is this something i can already do if i have wifi/internet? will i need to pay for two services if i have a hardline cable plus wifi still?
feedback greatly appreciated
thanks! |

You could also try homeplug type connection. I have had good luck with a computer on opposite side of house. No connection issues but not much data being transferred either. Only speed test I did was normal speed test sites using homeplug and wireless n, homeplug always maxed out my internet connection wireless lagged a little behind. Poor signal.
Did test it with netflix on my TV much closer connection and has zero issues with it streaming video.
