[Sci-Fi] Sleepy Hollow?

The show just doesn't seem to gel. The girl protagonist is uber pretty, but too much like she's still a high school kid to be credible. The show moves too slow and is tedious for me, it's like another formula show, just add water, no real innovation or imagination for me. In fact, sometimes it is hard to take it seriously. I think the director is the problem here.
