Re: [Internet] Bell Fibe Internet extremely slow

Out of curiosity, what upload were you getting at its best?

When I original got my FTTN, I was only able to get a 1.77 up. The Bell tech told me there will be no way I can get Fibe TV to work properly with that kind of speed even if I wanted it. Since I wanted only internet (15/10) it was not an issue. That 1 extra mpbs as compared to the old High Speed of 0.6 mbps brought stability in ping when my old man's TVPad is streaming.

With all TV boxes turned off, the best upload speeds I'm getting is between 1-2MB. I've never had quality issues with the TV though.

I read in somewhere on the Bell tech hand held test device the wire distance from my house to the CO was 2 km. Physical straight line distance is 300 meters. I was betting I could have gotten the 10 mbps upload for sure but whoever the idiot that ran the wires in the neighborhood went the long way decades ago. You just have to wait for fibre in your neighborhood.
