| Broadcast Basic HD Channel Outage. Anyone Else? I have optimum broadcast basic and am using my samsung hdtv qam tuner to receive service.
Since 10/2/2013 (3 days now) I havent been receiving cbs, nbc, fox, abc or wliw on their normal channels. Which for me is (HD) 2.1, 4.1 etc. I am still receiving them in standard def on other channels 94.2, 94.4 etc.
Yes I tried rescanning.
The strange thing is that I still get my9 and pix (HD) 9.1 and 11.1 along with the rest of the normal hd channels like ion, news12 etc.
Wondering if this is a permanent thing or just temporary. Like if they started encrypting these channels.
Tried to report this to tech support all they want to do is sell me a cable box and charge me an extra $5 or $6 a month (which is half the cost of the service). Id sooner cancel and invest in a quality antenna than give them more money for "free" channels.
I know one other person in 08817 with the same situation. Anyone else having this issue? |
