| What options do I have I live in Markham, Kennedy/ Major Mackenzie, L6C. My cable has been down for 3 days. I just reported on the direct forum. I am not sure how long it will take to get my problem fixed.
After reading some posts here, I know some people's internet connection has been down for 8-9 days or longer. This really scared me. I rely on internet to work from home often. I can't stand internet downtime for so long.
could anyone give me any suggestion what options do I have now? As I checked, Bell only has DSL 6 in my area. This speed is too low for me. It seems that my only option is still cable. So if I go back to Rogers, will they get my internet online right away? I am not sure because TS uses the same line as Rogers. Anyone has any suggestions? Thanks in advance! | | | If you use it for work, you should get commercial services. You'll get faster response times. Rogers also gives priority to their own customers, so you will probably get a faster resolution with them.
However, I'd ask if you think this many long outages all over by Rogers is a coincidence. If it isn't and you switch to them, don't you think you're just giving in to more of their unethical practices? You have to do what's best for you, I just hope you consider the impact your decision today will have on your telecom options tomorrow.

I am in the same boat. In Markham and no internet from last 3 days and I rely on it for work purpose. I was with Bell for last 8 years and never had an internet outage that lasted few hrs and here I am with TSI, cost savings- yes, worth it- probably not! actually, Now, i am sure it is not...have to make a decision about leaving TSI soon..very soon. No internet from 3 days, limited to no support on direct forum(standard replies, no value) , no signs of an ETA, loooooong wait time while calling tech support...the only option- suffer in the dark and hope (yes, hope) for the things to change- this is ridiculous.
