Bridging Cellpipe ModemHey,
So I've been having a hard time to use my Cellpipe VDSL modem as a bridge. I'm running my Cellpipe modem connected to my DD-WRT flashed router, who takes care of my wireless and networking. I haven't been able to make my DD-WRT router connect to PPPoE. I have tried disabling my PPPoE connection in the cellpipe by entering a random U/P combination, and still no go.
Until next week, I am with Bell Fibe 15/10. For the moment, it doesn't really bother as DMZ is working fine, But next week I will be getting by TSI internet activated and would really like to have my router get my public IP directly and manage my Inet
So is there any reason this setup shouldn't work? Like maybe a MAC address lock? And if it's the case, will I have the same problem with TSI?
Thanks

There is nothing to configure on the Cellpipe itself... Easiest way is to factory reset it, plug it in your router WAN port, set it to PPPoE authentication and off you go...
If it doesnt work, there's something else wrong. |
