Re: Netgear gs108 for $26 after rebate w/ FS I didn't realize I was going to start a whole discussion. I just thought I'd share what I thought was a good price on the switch AT&T uses on installs. |

An easy solution is to use one switch for your computers and one for you iptv multicast traffic. Then you don't need to worry about igmp snooping capability since the RG will only send the tv packets to the switch with the TVs. |

Aside from trial and error, how can one confirm from specs if any given switch should correctly handle u-verse multicast TV? gs108 lacks IGMP Snooping, so that ain't it. |

Glad it works. Out of curiosity do you have a Set Top Box off it or just LAN traffic? -- My Blog. Because I desperately need the acknowledgement of others.

Heck I ordered one just for a backup. If your here you probably know this is the AT&T recommended one for Uverse due to its ability to handle IGMP without freezing up or causing low speeds. -- My Blog. Because I desperately need the acknowledgement of others.
