Giants at Bears is difficult to choose. Giants are a disaster but I have no faith in Cutler (absolutely nil, zero, nada). It always appears to me he's slinging the ball blindly. So I'll go withe the Giants over the Bears.
The Eagles have a pissed off Revis by shooting off their mouth, so I'll go with the Bucs.
The Jets will crush the Steelers who are just a notch above the Jags.
Look for the Saints to run all over the Patriots. |

I'd pick the Pat's over the Saint's. The Pat's are batting about a 90% "W" percentage from 2003 till now in the game after a loss. They lost back to back once in 2012, once in 2011, once in 2009, and once in 2006. |

I'm almost dreading the Thursday Night Game this week. Less than a minute into the game and Eli has already thrown an interception. |

And Eli's second interception is a pick-six. 2 interceptions in 5 minutes is just not good. |

They're actually not that bad -- slightly less than 1 TD behind at 21-27!! |

Yeah, Jacobs is surprisingly breaking runs for a few yards and Eli isn't throwing interceptions since those first 2. lol, I spoke just a bit too soon. |

I didn't get to watch most of the game (working late) -- that final score was wayyyyy tooo close though...
But unless you are playing the Vegas line, a W is a W
NFC North leading Chicago Bears =) |

You should send a "thank you" note to Eli.... |

I caught the late INT -- charging the tipped ball INT to the QB? |

The pass was kind of high for that TE (Myers) to catch. |

It was a high ball -- let it sail though and Jennings (Corner) doesn't pick it |

I give Myers credit for trying, but... yeah, game over. Congrats. |

Thank you
I was listening to the Chicago radio call (780 AM) off and on thru the game -- sounded like there were a lot of defensive injuries for Da Bears thru the game, and Tillman inactive before the start
Good to see a W even when the team isn't 100%
The Lovie days, if the D isn't 100%, you don't win. The Trestman era has changed some things |

From what I heard they came into the game banged up, and still played pretty good football.
Cutler looked very good and he's got some big targets with Marshall and Jeffery. |

Marshall and Jeffery...real Wide Outs
Big improvement over the failed Devin Hester as WR experiment
Yeah, the D has been banged up some coming in, Losing #1 & #2 3 Tech DT, Tillman has been iffy for a few weeks, but in game they lost Williams & Anderson, the 2 other starting LBs besides Briggs
Good luck rest of the season, Giants fans -- The NFC East is still up for grabs, even at 0-6 I think |

I think if the Pats get Gronk back, then the edge has to go to the Pats. He still hasn't been cleared yet, but I'd expect it to be a game time decision. While the Saints D has improved from last year (how could it not have) I don't think they have anyone who can match up against Gronk (hell does anyone?) |
|
|
Who does NE have who matches up to Jimmy Graham? He is 3rd in rec with 37, 1st with 593 yard and tied for 2nd with 6 td's among all recievers .. |

Any chance the Jags could beat the Broncos, before I lay my bet? I know Denver are overwhelming favorites but I doubt they'll make the spread. Could make more money if I bet Jags win. » mmqb.si.com/2013/10/11/j ··· ref=sihp |

Given that the Broncos' defense ranks 29th in the league, it might be tempting to pick JAX especially given the potential for such a huge payout. Scrape together $50 and throw that down, perhaps? As for beatingDenver, I doubt it. But, any given Sunday... |

Yes, they have a chance, but not a whole lot. Maybe a couple of percentage points. A couple of key players including Peyton can get injured -- that could definitely give the Jags a fighting chance. |

Tebow-mania would PROPEL the Jags to victory. I don't think the NFL allows roster moves like that to be kept secret, not to mention ESPN & CBS would want that to be public knowledge to hype the crap out of it |

I bet against the spread. I doubt the Broncos care about the spread. IF they get a lead they will probably rest Peyton and a few of their key personnel. Remember a big game at Indy next week.
OR maybe Peyton could lose his helmet. |
