Win7 64bit ie10 protected mode enabled
Downloaded this and I see it enabled in addons but I see nothing in tools or status bar for icons to configure this. Even disabled protected mode and restarted and got the same thing. WTH hell is going on? dudware? |

I can't get Adblock Plus for IE to work with IE 8 on an XP Pro SP3 machine. Doesn't show up in the status bar and doesn't load yet it shows in the addons. Alot of people seem to have this issue. No solution in the adblock forums either. |

This is only the 2nd release of ABP for IE. It will probably take some time to get all the wrinkles ironed out. Here's the first release (notes) Adblock Plus 1.0 for Internet Explorer releasedOn one setup = Win7SP1x86+IE10 - no problems - icon (settings) in status bar. However, if I start IE in private mode, it doesn't show. I noticed in task manager, that the process "AdblockPlusEngine.exe" is running if the icon is showing in the status bar. Edit: Read the IE directions, went to Internet Options, Privacy, and unchecked "Disable toolbars and extensions when InPrivate browsing starts" and now Adblock running whether in private browsing or not. |

I take it, the other part of the deal, "AdblockPlusEngine.exe" is not running in task manager either? Because if there is no icon, there should be no process. Also, in internet options, advanced, enable third party browser extensions will need to be checked in order for Adblock to run. (I'm looking at IE8). |

Works after that cheers. I get page cannot be displayed when I go to add a filter but what ever easy list seems to work. added easy privacy tracking list byt it went into ie tracking protection. Good enough. |

Re: Adblock Plus now supports Enhanced Protected Mode (IE)Don't forget to take note of known limitationsquote: There are still a few known limitations in this version. Also, some users are reporting Adblock Plus causing Internet Explorer hangs on Windows 8.1, so far we were unable to reproduce this issue despite identical configuration.
