Static IPv6 trials were already in progress for business customers given the info that I have read here. I just read in another location that only dynamic trials were underway and the static trials MIGHT begin in November.
I think the IPv6 page. »comcast6.net/ says business trials are done recruiting (for now) but that existing applicants will be considered in trial expansions. What was the other source(s)?
It was a list group and the comment was made by a Comcast employee that is in the know.
I was accepted and my name put on the list, I have static IP's, but was just told the trials were not in my area. My take on what has been told to us was that business customers with dynamic IP's could pull IPv6 for a while now. It was only those on static IP's that are for these trials. But what I read earlier is just the opposite.
