I have not had to post here in a very long time...
Last time I had issues and posted here was well over a year ago, maybe 2 years!!
So long in fact that I lost my Nickname... I used to be Methos here.
On Wednesday Oct 9 NRTC was installing a conduit for fiber under my lawn when they cut my internet cable running to the pole next to my house. They called up Cogeco and someone was here to repair it in a couple of hours. They spliced in a short length of cable for the repair and reburied it. My internet was fine that day, but it has degraded over the last week until I have gone from a connection with a download speed of over 3MB/s to a speed of 500KB/s. And Cogeco can't be back here until Friday!?!?!?
You can try to PM a cogeco rep with your modem MAC, but it's unlikely they can do anything, it's dependant on the cogeco tech's schedules... Sorry bud.
