Hello Everyone,

Cable customers in the following areas may be experiencing service interruptions:

Reported on 10/11/2013
- Grand crest POI, Kitchener - DHCP IP address issue

Reported on 10/14/2013
- Scarlett POI, Toronto - RF Signal issue

Reported on 10/16/2013
- 475 Richmond POI, Ottawa - DHCP IP address issue
- 1810 St.Laurent POI, Ottawa - RF Signal issue
- 5390 Richmond (Followfield) POI, Ottawa - DHCP IP address issue

Developing Issues:

- St. Laurent POI, Ottawa - Investigating DHCP (IP address) issue
- Salem POI, Pickering - Investigating DHCP (IP address) issue
- Newkirk POI, Toronto - Investigating DHCP (IP address) issue

DSL customers in the following areas may be experiencing service interruptions:

•St Sauveur
•Brampton
•Huntingdon
•Springmount
•Hamilton

We are not always able to provide an ETA for resolution to our customers. As we receive ETAs, we will post the information here. Please check back frequently for updates on current issues.

So here is my issue, its great you guys state there is a problem.

My problem is that everytime this happens were down for 1-7 days without credit. Teksavvy like the other TPIA providers cannot be claiming they dont get any credit from Rogers and therefore really should be providing us some relief. I shouldn't need two internet providers to make sure I am up when my neighboors with rogers are working fine.

You don't need two providers... Just get a DSL account from TSI.

Actually, I wonder if they would consider offering a "backup" DSL package for dirt cheap, with free bandwidth during cable outages.

I've been out of service for at least 14 hours here in Vancouver, BC - a rep said that others are having routing issues in BC as well. Is there a reason this outage isn't on the list?

Cable here (Montreal), internet still work but very very slow at responding on loading website. Speed and latency are fine here.

Traceroute a lot of domain, a lot of time-out everywhere from diff datacenter. I'm not sure what is going on.

Even for DSLReports.com website, sometime it takes 10seconds to load.

Hey Vandude,

The reason Vancouver isn't on the list of outages is because we haven't had enough tickets open. Once we have 5 tickets open we can open a master ticket, once a master ticket has been opened it gets added to the outage list.

I suggest anyone else on the Fallowfield POI having issues report it in the Direct forum, to help them nail down exactly where/how extensive the problem is.

in orleans you can power cycle the modem and try and get a 135.23.119.0 IP... i forced a IP from the 135.23.119.70-140 range (using 65 as the gateway and it works, you just have to use another dns as the dns on teksavvy end does not work.

My phone is ringing at home which means that I am back up in Embrun (St-Laurent POI). I can confirm this since I have VoIP and whenever the PAP is working and does not go directly to voicemail then I know service has been restored.

It's been a month of outage and slow slow internet for me. This is pretty dissapointing. Teksavvy needs to get their act together and do something instead of blaming Rogers.

It seems like connections are back to normal. Probably overnight hiccups.
