The IP address belongs to Rogers.com(local Rogers servers not identifying as Google), but pretty good.

Why do you think it might be a problem?
I think the problem is that google.ca from the first post resolves to 188.8.131.52 which whois reports is Rogers.. Shouldnt that be google? Thats what I thought was strange.
When I ping to www.google.ca it comes back as 184.108.40.206 owned by Google as I would expect. sorry if I am confused too.
