The IP address belongs to Rogers.com(local Rogers servers not identifying as Google), but pretty good.

I think the problem is that google.ca from the first post resolves to 64.71.249.54 which whois reports is Rogers.. Shouldnt that be google? Thats what I thought was strange.
When I ping to www.google.ca it comes back as 74.125.131.94 owned by Google as I would expect. sorry if I am confused too.

No, you can't other than change DNS servers

No its not a virus, change your dbs to 4.2.2.1. And 8.8.8.8
