Re: [Cable] Choppiness to HockeystreamsSame here. I'm on dsl 6 mbps in Scarborough and the games are constantly freezing and buffering. Did not happen until 2 weeks ago. Thinking of changing providers... |

I'm guessing the same servers are used to stream the games for ballstreams.com. There were a couple of days where I could watch games without interruption but these days I just have to put up with a 2 second pause every couple of minutes. It's not terrible but I'm definitely looking forward to a permanent fix. |

Re: [DSL] Choppiness to HockeystreamsI did not try cbc.ca , didn't even think of that. will try next time. I did use the xbox cbc app to catch 3rd period, but that is low quality SD. it worked though. |

Re: [Cable] Choppiness to HockeystreamsThank you and glad to hear it. Will hold off changing anything on my end to give TSI a chance at this as you've done nothing wrong per se on your end. Will be an extremely happy moppet if you get this fixed. Please let us know when there is something to know.
thank you |

Couldn't watch any of the Blizzcon stream without buffering at least once every 5 minutes. 35/3 in Toronto.
However, watching on a 6mbps Bell connection at work, the stream was flawless. |

Will do. Most likely will be Tuesday. |

Did you try in Source mode (1080P?) because it always works fine in lower quality (that most people don't realize they are in as Twitch renamed things to make it 'easier'). I usually have no problems in 720p or 'high' quality, it is 1080p broadcasts that are the problem, a single stream doesn't seem to be able to go over teksavvy pipe that can support that fast. |

Same issues here with TekSavvy and hockeystreams. Buffering in Firefox and XBMC Just became a TekSavvy customer and feel like switching back to my old ISP just because of this. Please fix. Selecting Teksavvy only in hockeystreams does not help. Flash configured correctly... |

Can anyone confirm if this seems to be resolved? Asking according to this: » twitter.com/hockeystream ··· 94474240 |

Only if Montreal can score now! Tampa is just eating us up! Should technically be 2-0 for Tampa with that terrible disallowed goal (which I am happy it didn't count but it should of counted ). |

Watching the Kansas game and no pauses yet. Very promising. |

Off-topic a little... but is there such as thing as NBA or MLB streams equivalent that do not have local GeoIP-detection blackouts?
I only watch HD sports on TV, and do not want to continue to pay Robbers $100/month.
I tried out Hockeystreams and am blown away by the quality (and price).
Thanks. |

ballstreams.com for NBA and NCAA, invite needed to register until they get more servers. No MLB equivalent that I'm aware of. |

Yes. Good work. My Ottawa vs Philly game ran smooth last night. Only 2 or 3 minor minor hiccups all game (1 second blips). Totally acceptable and a great experience. HD didn't seem fully HD, but that could be my computer. I'll be getting a new ipad soon which I hear runs the streams smooth as butter.
Thank you for fixing the problem. Hopefully it wasn't just for the one night.
The game was terrible though, man did Ottawa stink it up. Can you fix them too? |

Anyone care to share what actually changed? Transit, cache servers, routing...? Their side or TSI? Curious minds want to know |

Thanks...I did get that original tweet from Hockeystreams but was wondering if that was all that was done. Sounds like it was all on their side yet still specific to TSI and Distributel. |

Sad. TSI put up with so much crap and shit talking and the issue was with HockeyStreams/BallStreams. |
